Summer Fair 2022

GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY!

Donations of CAKE still welcome – please bring on the day!

After some frantic preparations, our Summer Fair is THIS SATURDAY AT 11am!  The weather forecast is good, and you should see the bunting up in the playground any day now – after 3 years away WE CAN’T WAIT!!

A brochure is attached with information about the event – please look for a paper version in your children’s book bags today, along with some raffle tickets for you to buy.

Tickets and payment tokens are available to buy online in advance.  Please visit Friends of Dunraven’s brand new online store to purchase: https://friends-of-dunraven.sumupstore.com/

This year’s fair will feature a brand new SPLASH ZONE in the ball court.  This will be free to enter (water pistols and other water fun items will be available to purchase) and the area will be monitored to try to stop water play from spreading to other parts of the fair (please encourage your children not to bring water out of the designated area).  If your child is likely to want to join in, you might want to come prepared with a small towel and some dry clothes!

This will be my last School Fair as Chair of Friends of Dunraven, and I really hope you’ll all come along and have a fantastic time.

See you on Saturday!

Dunraven Primary Winter Fair 2021

Having been unable to hold an in-person event for 2 years, Friends of Dunraven is back this year with a Winter Fair! The event will be held after school (3.20pm) on 10th December 2021.

There will be plenty to do for all the family with food and drink, games and crafts to keep everyone entertained, gifts for sale and, of course, SANTA – Entry is £1, with free entry available as explained below.

This year, tickets and tokens (see below for details) are available to purchase in advance online.  Online payment is preferred, if possible! Cash payment on the day will also be accepted, but we would be grateful if you could bring plenty of £1 and 50p coins.

PAYMENT TOKENS: We will be selling bags of tokens, which can be used to pay for all the food, games, crafts and Santa.  These can be purchased online in advance to save you from needing to bring cash on the day.  SPECIAL OFFER:  You will get one free entry to the fair with an advance purchase of £10 worth of tokens and one half price entry with an advance purchase of £5 worth of tokens.

TICKETS FOR SANTA: These will be sold in 15 minute time slots.  YOU MUST ARRIVE AT THE CORRECT TIME OR YOU MAY NOT BE SEEN.  Tickets for Santa cost £2 each, but if purchased in advance must be bought alongside £5 worth of vouchers (£7 in total) as unfortunately we are unable to take payment online for small sums.

RAFFLE: Raffle tickets can be paid for online, but the ticket stubs must be provided at the Raffle Ticket Stall at the fair, or handed in at the office, along with your online ticket as proof of payment.

We look forward to seeing you at the fair!

Friends of Dunraven was due to run a number of events during the 2019/20 Spring and Summer Terms, including a Multi-cultural event celebrating the hugely diverse mix of the Dunraven School community, an Easter Egg Hunt, Science Fair, Eid Event and, the main event of the year, our Summer Fair. Sadly, the Covid-19 pandemic put a stop to these plans, however, we very much hope to be back up and running (probably on a smaller scale) in the 2020/21 Autumn Term. Please check back to this page, sign up for updates and check your emails from Dunraven School for details of future events.
